This year's tactic, change the window curtain with an ornamental rug while walking around saying: how good they are, neuter the existence of the modernist threat, and give the impression they stand with ABL in 1974 selectively quoting him but omit the reason why ABL said what he said.
Planned obsolescence.
With the suspicious creation announced by the General Chapter yesterday for two "General Councillors" to assist the new Superior General setting a new tone, a day before this neutered "final address", gives credence there is more going on than what they are telling the world.
Here it is.

Here is the entire 1974 declaration providing the true context and substance of Archbishop Lefebvre the 2018 General Chapter omitted.

'The principle focus is the Priesthood' Might as well be a statement from the Fraternity of St Peter and the other tradecumenical institutes.

How convenient for the “new” SSPX to leave the “meat” of the document out. Thanks for printing them together for others to see.

What this 2018 General Chapter said for the impetus of the next 12 years is NOTHING is changed from the 2012 Declaration. Nothing added to it; nothing denied; nothing retracted! Just more of the same marketing...this time as a neutral cover for the masses to effect their change behind the scenes by the two new "General Councillors" - Bishop Fellay and Fr. Schmidberger making the deal with modernist rome.

The facade of this 2018 "Final address" is already causing damage duping their followers; as it was meant to do.
It is going to be another long haul of secret duplicit "addresses" from the new conciliar-menzingen. Stay in your Catholic trenches or you will be another casualty.

Notice how this "final address" is in nature ambiguous? It was an address to leave their people complicit and empowered to say they were right all along. It was made to squash and neutralize the "resistance" being wrong and imprudent to leave. They are disobedient and proud. On and on... What a satanic malign tool for change. All those 40 superiors did this to trick and deceive their true agenda. It was to buy time...keeping the masses dumb and compliant while yielding the mas an army to go after their "enemy" - us. Distracted, the superiors keep injecting the poison of the modernists agenda into their marriages, confessions, and ordinations... Saying the NOM is the ordinary rite and legitimate before God to worship him (sic).
The neo-sspx people will be happy in their comatose sin while the sspx leaders fresh from their General house will preach conservatism, how good they are, how great the [empty] "Final address" is. At the same time they are behind the scenes with their two "General Councillors" making modernist rome smile shaking hands laughing and spitting on ABL's 1974 Declaration.
Another ambiguous document meant for the masses to keep them in sin and lull them to sleep.

There are 10-things so far wrong with this "2018 SSPX General Chapter Final Address".
- It is ambiguous.
- Stating how good they are and priestly needing to save the priesthood (i.e. mass not the faith).
- Stating how they are catholic and needing to be united to the [Church].
- Neutered the existence of the modernist threat.
- Gave the impression they stand with ABL in 1974 selectively quoting him but omit the reason why ABL said what he said.
- Declared nothing had changed from the 2012 General Chapter seeking a practical deal. Nothing was added to this "Final address"; nothing denied; nothing retracted!
- The stealth of the two "General Councillors" are significant because they have official administrative capacity to effect change and are undetected by the general population of the sspx members allowing them to go to modernist rome without announcement, interview, or document. No trail, no accountability to the masses.
- Allows their inferior sspx members and followers to stand behind them in a false pretext.
- Allows the same to be empowered and enamored against any "resistance" toward them as imbalanced, disobedient and "liberal".
- Allows the same to be further complicit and comatose.
- ...

Other than requoting - in part - the Archbishop's 1974 Declaration, there is zilch reference to the fight against modernism, which is an attack on the very priesthood the SSPX professes that it hopes to promote:
Do they not understand that the priesthood, without sound doctrine, is meaningless? Is that not what we see in the Conciliar Church? A priesthood that is united to the laity, oriented to the laity, praying in the language of the laity, etc. It is the doctrine that gives strength to the priesthood. Without sound doctrine the priests become, as Fr. Hewko frequently references, bunny rabbits.

This General statement sounds like an announcement to the Conciliar Church of their entrance to 'save' them. If that is the case it would be such childish presumption to say the least.

Chirp, chirp ... chirp, chirp
Where is the commentary from Bishop Williamson on the election of the new Superior General and on the Final Address of the General Chapter?
There has been no reference, nothing, - in the last two Eleison Comments - that addresses these important issues. Rather, the two latest EC have focused on Artificial Intelligence. While no doubt this is a scintillating topic to some, it has little to do with the crisis in the Church and at such a time as this.
Even the "de facto" false resistance forum has taken note of Bishop Williamson's prolonged silence on the events of the General Chapter. They too are wondering why so many days have gone by in silence from the titular head of the (false) resistance.
I'm sure we will hear something eventually but the momentum of such comments will be lost...interesting!

Here it is, the EC discussing the General Chapter:
Number DLXXVI (576) July 28, 2018
General Chapter – I
Old leaders, having failed, must get the sack, And under no condition be brought back!
So the latest General Chapter of the Society of St Pius X, the fourth with elections (1982, 1994, 2006 and 2018), came to a close in Écône, Switzerland, last Saturday. The event was followed with interest in many quarters, because for about 40 years from its founding in 1970 the Society emerged as a most important bastion of the Catholic Faith in the wake of the Second Vatican Council (1962–1965), which had in effect officially undermined that Faith. However, over the last 20 years or so the Society had given increasing signs of a change of direction, more in line with the Church’s Conciliar officials, and less in line with its Founder, Archbishop Lefebvre. Which direction would the General Chapter now show the Society to be taking?
The detailed proceedings of a Chapter are meant to remain private, like those of the election of a Pope, but at the end of the Chapter emerged public words and actions. The words were the Chapter’s official Declaration of policy for the future, which aligned itself on Archbishop Lefebvre’s famous declaration of November of 1974, “in its entirety.” However, as the website Non Possumus has clearly shown by quoting truly in its entirety that declaration of war against the new religion of Vatican II, the Chapter has deliberately chosen to quote only its more peaceful parts. This is not promising for the Society’s continuation of the Archbishop’s holy war against the dreadful apostasy of Vatican II.
Of course the Archbishop was Catholic first and only as a consequence anti-Conciliar, which is why his declaration of war contains peaceful parts. But how can truth be loved without a hatred of error? Anti-Conciliarism follows immediately and necessarily upon love of Catholicism, which is why hordes of true Catholics came to follow the Society and its Founder who clearly and openly denounced the apostasy of the Church’s officials. Under him, the seminary in Écône once had well over a hundred seminarians, and crowds of thousands would attend each summer the ordination of a dozen or more new priests. In June of this year an estimated crowd of 450 souls attended the ordination of three new priests from among about 40 seminarians. Catholics are voting with their feet – and closing their wallets – against the Newsociety.
As for the Chapter’s public actions, which always speak louder than words, these consisted in the election of a new Superior General and two new Assistants. Participants in the Chapter must be congratulated on having deposed the previous General and Assistants, because these had striven for 12 years to change the Society’s direction in order to pursue official recognition from the Roman apostates. The recognition was not obtained, but the Society was seriously weakened and its best priests disoriented. So who did the Chapter choose as rulers in their place? The two new Assistants have been loyal executives of the previous General with his policy of currying favour with Conciliar Rome. For the common good of the Society? But when was there ever a Catholic common good opposed to the Faith? As for the new General, he may not himself know what he means to do as General, because God alone knows for sure what a man will do when he is put in power. Often he will disappoint, because “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely” (Lord Acton) – but he can prove to be surprisingly good. Fr Pagliarani certainly needs our prayers.
In this respect however, the Chapter’s last public action came like a thunderclap. Just before the Chapter’s close they voted to add to the Society’s governing Council of General and two Assistants another two “Counsellors,” and who did they choose? The Society’s last two Generals, Fr Schmidberger (1982–1994) and Bishop Fellay, who between 1994 when he was first elected and 2018 when he was at last dethroned, was the main architect of the Society’s weakening and decline! Whose doing was it to put Bishop Fellay right back next to the throne, together with his closest collaborator, Fr Schmidberger? What wise Superior wants his predecessor to be hanging around for another 12 years? What did the Chapter think it was doing? In any case, it is not a good sign if the Society is to love truth and hate error.
Kyrie eleison.

It is necessary to point out the specific title the 2018 new-SSPX General Chapter described their impetus going forward as the public announcement for all its members, benefactors, and modern rome, being - "General Chapter final address".
This is an important and peculiar title departing from all their other General Chapter statements where they previously made Declarations as a unification for a plan of action going forward in the crisis. So why is this 2018 now different in its title?
The answer is found below, but first, here are the other General Chapter declarations to show the distinction.
2006
DECLARATION OF THE SSPX'S 2006 GENERAL CHAPTER
Excerpt:
Notice in 2006 the General Chapter declared doctrine as their premise. Even the inclusion of ABL's 1974 Declaration quoting the stout refusal to follow neo-modernist and neo-Protestant rome. Unlike the 2012 and 2018 statements omitting this important reality; and omitting the Doctrinal premise to seek a practical and political accord.
2012
Final declarations of the 2012 General Chapter
Submitted by the Secretary General of the SSPX, Fr. Christian Thouvenot, To All Superiors of the SSPX
Excerpt: In agenda to their 2012 branding operation they purposed their General Chapter declaration to be a multi-piece puzzle, hereto are the other parts to their official press release.
Excerpt:
"...As announced in the press communiqué of the Society of St. Pius X's General House on July 14, 2012, the members of the General Chapter sent a common statement to Rome. It has been published today. During the interview published at DICI on July 16, Bishop Bernard Fellay stated that this document was "the occasion to specify the (SSPX's) road map insisting upon the conservation of the Society's identity, the only efficacious means to help the Church to restore Christendom"."
2018
General Chapter final address
With a striking contrast, this "final address" stated nothing new but a commentary and self reflection of their identity, the same identity they conveyed in their 2012 declaration wanting reconciliation with modern rome to take them in slogan "As we are" (what ever that means). Neither was in this 2018 "Final Address" anything denied or overturned from their 2012 declaration to seek political approval, nor was anything added. So the 2018 "Final Address" was given ONLY as a political address conveying they are still measured on the same ROAD MAP pursuing their 2012 Declaration for -political recourse- without needing to repeat it.
An address is not a declaration. Therefore the 2012 declaration continues...
Now it can be understood why there is the new administrative appointment for Bishop Fellay to work behind the scenes undetected from the regular members to continue the ROAD MAP describe as stone by Bishop Fellay. Added too, any dignitary and diplomat knows a "Final Address" is only a window dressing keeping within the measure and continuity of their last Declaration enshrined in the 2012 General Chapter.
So why the maneuver to look passive neutral in an address after a week plus of internal discourse between themselves? What else is there to say when things remain the same? Hence the fluff of their self reflection while omitting anything contrary to modern rome. The passive neutral approach is a tool to gain a perceive equilibrium between all sides while awaiting the "seal" Bishop Fellay said is the only thing needed from the Pope to gain their anticipated reconciliation with conciliarism.

The General Chapter also made a very progressive aim in choosing a simpler priest Superior General this time around giving the plausible excuse to “discount” every progressive quote and act of Bishop Fellay during his 24 year term so as to hide now in plain sight. Have the learned the art of communism dropping Christ to sit at first place of table? Yet they keep Bishop Fellay in the silent background with an official functional administrative role in Menzingen -as a Bishop- to move and intermingle with the romans.
So it comes back to the whole of the 40 member General Chapter that are really the ones who are progressive in stealth infiltrating modernism by drips and drops into the veins of the SSPX members and benefactors.
Nonetheless, for man to remove the doctrinal premise of Christ to go forward in life or war is sure death. The only thing remaining between men are practical and political emotions without a guide. That is what they convey from their pulpits to entice us to side with their agenda. Don't believe me? Go ahead, have a conversation on the doctrine premise and the state of necessity and you get slammed and told to obey.
The new-sspx is happily an official conciliar-sspx.
