Sermon of Fr. Hewko-
"We're in an age of many, many novelties - new mass, new doctrines of Vat II, new everything. New rosary, new mysteries, new martyrology, new philosophy, new theology. Everything's new. Don't forget sedevacantism is also a novelty of Vat II. It's a novelty. To say the pope's not pope and I can judge the Holy Father, that's a novelty in the history of the human race let alone the history of the Church.
Archbishop Lefbvre was never sedevacantist. Many a sedevacantist tried to turn him into one but the proof is shortly before he died he obliged all the members of the Soc. of St. Pius X to make an oath that they will pray and acknowledge the Vicar of Christ who reigns. That means put his name in the Canon of the Mass.
Archbishop Lefebvre was never sedevacantist. And he was not modernist.
The priests of the resistance we don't want to invent something new. We don't need a new congregation, we don't need a new order, we don't need a new club. We just have to hold the line of Archbp. Lefebfvre, the Soc. of St. Pius X, his statutes, his rule for the seminaries and his way of dealing with the priests, living in priories and they go out to take care of the souls all over the world, to continue the work of ABL which is the work of the Church.
How many good people have fallen with the new Mass or have fallen with sedevacantism? Once you enter sedevacantism there is no stopping where it stops. There's no stopping it.
As Archbp. Lefebvre said it's an inextricable pit you can't get out of. Because then they start saying Pius XII wasn't pope because under him was the reform of Holy Week. Then they say Pius XI was not pope. Then they say Pius X wasn't pope because he reformed the breviary. Where do they stop?
That's why Archbp. Lefebvre said don't go there, it's a dead end. They even have their own popes and when you look at all the sedevacantists priests who have broken off, they're all their own popes. Everyone of them is their own pope. They don't really work together at all. At all. Their fruits are bitterness. Their fruits are not apostolic.
Bishop Fellay didn't obey our founder Archbishop Lefebvre. Bp. Fellay was the one to open the door to modernism working with GREC, signing the Doc. Declaration. He's also the one to tolerate within the SSPX sedevacantists priests who told him, 'I don't pray for the pope in the Mass.' Bp. Fellay was the first to tolerate it. Archbp. Lefebvre did not tolerate it. He told all the priests, I don't want sedevacantists in my priestly Society. It was all clear to all of us."
