On October 13th, the 101st Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima's Miracle of the Sun,
Fr. Hewko speaks briefly about Bishop Ambrose
Father begins speaking about Bishop Ambrose at minute mark: 09:50 and finishes at minute mark: 21:40:
Highlights:
- Fr. Hewko spoke about the openness of Archbishop Lefebvre in discussing his plans and concerns over the years. The investigation should be handled as the Archbishop handled things in responding to the concerns of the faithful.
He reminds us that Fr. Pfeiffer is still conducting his investigation. Fr. Hewko also reminds us that any thorough investigation takes times and should not be done hastily, that this investigation should go very slow, weighing things carefully.
+++
In light of Fr. Hewko's exhortations for prayers to seek God's will above all and to have patience while Fr. Pfeiffer continues his investigation, The Catacombs will continue to give the priests time to weigh all these things out. We remain in prayer and silence until such time as the priests of OLMC conclude their investigation into Bishop Ambrose.
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy Name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done...
+++
May Our Lord the Eternal High Priest and Our Lady of the Clergy, guide our good priests.

Should not this investigation have been completed and attained a moral certitude BEFORE Fr. Pfeiffer had Ambrose Moran conditionally ordain Fr. Poisson?

The continuing investigation is to help resolve concerns on behalf of the laity, so their minds can be at peace.

The evidence is plain for everybody to see. Ambrose Moran has fraudulently presented himself as a priest ordained and bishop consecrated by Cardinal Slipyj. This has been well documented. Fr. Peiffer will not change his mind, and I have a doubt that he will make a public statement on the issue. Fr. Hewko, on the other hand, needs to make his decision once and for all. He cannot keep going back and forth. The faithful have been going in circles long enough.

We heartily agree with Fr Hewko’s words that there should be much time taken with this investigation, a great deal of time. We know that these priests are essentially missionary, with aggressive weekend Mass circuits, of which most of us are the beneficiaries. This is in addition to forming the seminarians, which is also a full time job in and of itself. This is further in addition to retreats, catechism, conferences, international mission centers, etc. The OLMC Fathers should surely be given every courtesy and consideration in their deliberations regarding Bishop Ambrose. Fr Hewko’s words clearly reflect that they are still researching the issues -actively investigating.

I agree with EM. I believe that the investigation should have been completed before the conditional re-ordination of Father Poisson. Father Hewko did say that everything should be made clear by praying to God and Mother Mary for the truth to be shown to us, and that our objections were valid concerns. There should not have been any moves made for a condional re-ordination before everything was made completely clear by God as it only confuses the faithful. Even Father Hewko said that he is not at peace with it. The investigation is as much for our peace as it for his peace own peace as well.

Fr. Hewko is begging us to unite our prayers with those of Fr. Pfeiffer and Fr. Hewko. If you want to help simply pray.
This is the month of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. And if we really, really want to help ... pray AND sacrifice.

You are correct that I will not change my mind. For the laity who have been paying attention, there is an abundance of evidence that Ambrose Moran is a fraud. Here is a link with many posts (in reverse chronological order) providing this evidence: www.ecclesiamilitans.com/category/william-ambrose-moran/

This is the month of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. And if we really, really want to help ... pray AND sacrifice. Fr. Hewko needs to make a decision once and for all. Furthermore, Fr. Hewko needs to answer the following: 1) Why does he tell the laity not to attend Bishop Williamson's Masses, but then write letters with Fr. Pfeiffer to ask Bishop Williamson to come administer the sacraments at OLMC? 2) Why does he promote a priest, Fr. Pancras Raja, who is basically green light in regards to attendance at neo-SSPX Masses? This flies in the face of the red light position. Furthermore, I was informed recently that in the summer of 2017 Fr. Raja visited Fr. Cyprian, O.S.B., in Silver City, New Mexico and told this person at that time that Bishop Fellay maintained the principles and work of Archbishop Lefebvre! Let us stop dragging our feet on the Ambrose Moran issue. Our Lady has already showed us the will of God. We just need to pay attention and stop making excuses.

The message needs to be clear to the Kentucky Fathers: either Ambrose Moran is done for good or we no longer want you to come offer up Mass for us.

EM,
The Catacombs has made Fr. Hewko's words on this issue of Bp. Moran its the official stance until additional information becomes available.
We heartily embrace Fr. Hewko's very Catholic advice to seek God's will first and foremost, and secondly to pray while the priests do what priests supposed to do. They have the obligation to lead us in the right direction. So Fr. Hewko's humble request for prayers that they are not led astray while they are investigating the Bp. Ambrose issue is a fair and just request from us.
You have made clear here and elsewhere you have already judged the issue. You are free to do so. You have ample opportunity to air your opinions on your own site and anywhere else you may wish. But The Catacombs is respectfully waiting for the priests to give us a formal answer before opening this discussion up much further.
To denigrate the OLMC priests for neither reaching the same conclusion you have nor in acting as quickly as you would wish is unnecessary and we respectfully ask you to refrain from doing so. Fr. Hewko has validated your and others' concerns that there are some reasonable objections. We all are aware that these may or may not have a reasonable answer. We will wait and see what their formal answer is.
Again, we echo Fr. Hewko's words to seek God's will first and foremost and to pray.

A plethora of short posts is superfluous. You are simply stating and restating what you have already said. We all understand your position. You have already disassociated from OLMC. You personally have nothing to gain from the Fathers' decision. You have already made yours. Let the rest of us choose.
To posture that The Catacombs is personally giving false hope is ridiculous and just sounds angry. St. Augustine tells us that 'Patience is the companion of Wisdom'. Let us be patient.
