04 November 2018 (24th, but not last Sunday after Pentecost)
- Epistle: Romans 13: 8-10
- Gospel: St. Matthew 8: 23-27
Sermon outline: Fr. Hewko speaks about the power of the seven sacraments. He then mentions about how Christ instituted the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and the many scandals of Vatican II that spread man-made novelties, to diminish the sacraments that resulted in loss of the Catholic faith. Fr. Hewko then explains the divine miracle where Christ calms the sea in Holy Gospel, and describes how the storms represent the many attacks, such as heresies and divisions, that seek to destroy His spouse, the Holy Catholic Church. Fr. Hewko explains the seven sorrows of our Blessed Mother, and concludes the sermon by giving us examples of virtuous Catholic nuns and Priests that we should seek to emulate.
