Are you a fair weather friend?

Are you a fair weather friend who only thinks of these priests when you need them?
A friendly reminder that we faithful have an obligation to pray for the priests. We can’t lay everything at their feet thinking we are blameless.
Please remember traditional Catholics are born with original sin too and don’t be so quick to lay all blame on the priests.
From my association with traditional Catholics, many don’t daily pray for priests or pray much at all.
We have been told over and over that priests and faithful are a team. We are the backup prayers for those who tirelessly take care of us.
From experience, I’m sure many can see the same, people who like to talk the most and air their opinions all day on the internet, pray the least.
I’ve visited traditional Catholics on Fridays and they are eating meat. If you ask men at the missions, resistance and SSPX alike to lead the Rosary, they look back in horror and some even say they don’t know how. Well of course, if you aren’t in the habit of praying the daily Rosary!
The devil is out to get us all and he works a thousand times harder attacking priests. Like I say to anyone- Novus Ordo, SSPXers, and resistance faithful as well, who like to blame the Pope, the bishops and any priests, “So when is the last time you prayed for him?” Traditional Catholics are just as prideful as everyone else out there. The devil attacks the priests a thousand times a day more! One Hail Mary can block one of those attacks.
Pray for all at OLMC, priests especially and pray that we faithful see our part when things aren’t going so well.
If you aren’t willing to be part of the solution in this vale of tears, then you’re part of the problem. The devil doesn’t sleep and he’s out to get you & me too till the day we die.
St. Pius X said it right - “All the evil in the world is due to lukewarm Catholics.”
Lest we forget whose sins it was that nailed our sinless Lord to the Cross:
Jesus hanging on the Cross
Tell me was it I?
You have big tear drops Lord,
Did I make you cry?

A Prayer for Priests
Keep them, I pray Thee, dearest Lord,
Keep them, for they are Thine.
Thy Priests, whose lives burn out before
Thy consecrated shrine.
Keep them, for they are in the world,
Though from the world apart.
When earthly pleasures tempt, allure,
Shelter them in Thy Heart.
Keep them and comfort them in hours
Of loneliness and pain,
When all their life of sacrifice
For souls seems but in vain.
Keep them; and, oh, remember, Lord,
Keep them, I pray Thee, dearest Lord,
Keep them, for they are Thine.
Thy Priests, whose lives burn out before
Thy consecrated shrine.
Keep them, for they are in the world,
Though from the world apart.
When earthly pleasures tempt, allure,
Shelter them in Thy Heart.
Keep them and comfort them in hours
Of loneliness and pain,
When all their life of sacrifice
For souls seems but in vain.
Keep them; and, oh, remember, Lord,
They have no one but Thee;
Yet they have only human hearts,
With human frailty.
Keep them as spotless as the Host
That daily they caress,
Their every thought and word and deed
Deign, dearest Lord, to bless. Amen.
Yet they have only human hearts,
With human frailty.
Keep them as spotless as the Host
That daily they caress,
Their every thought and word and deed
Deign, dearest Lord, to bless. Amen.
