In what appears to be yet another effort to show it's alignment with the Conciliar Church, the Non Possumus blog points out that the official SSPX Germany Facebook page shows Fr. Franz Schmidberger among the crowd of Pilgrims greeting Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. As many of you probably know, Fr. Franz Schmidberger is the Rector of the SSPX's Sacred Heart Seminary in Zaitzkofen (Bavaria), Germany.
The official FSSPX Facebook site in Germany now has the following cover photo:
The use of this picture as the official image on the SSPX's German Facebook page gives it an interesting significance. One is left with the distinct impression that SSPX leaders are genuinely pleased to be in contact with the modernist clergy and hierarchy of the Conciliar Church, of which Cardinal Ratzinger/Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI is one of the most modern. (See here, here, here, or Bp. Tissier de Mallerais' expose of Benedict XVI's errors here.) Hardly something to smile about considering the great damage to souls that has been done by Cardinal Ratzinger alone.
"So let us be confident, let us not be unprepared, let us not be outflanked, let us be wise, vigilant, fighting against those who are trying to tear the faith out of our souls and morality out of our hearts, so that we may remain Catholics, remain united to the Blessed Virgin Mary, remain united to the Roman Catholic Church, remain faithful children of the Church."- Archbp. Lefebvre 1980
