Faux-pas priests Turning Against Bishop Williamson

Amen, amen I say to you: The servant is not greater than his lord; neither is the apostle greater than he that sent him. If you know these things, you shall be blessed if you do them. I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen. But that the scripture may be fulfilled: He that eateth bread with me, shall lift up his heel against me. John 13:16-18

Judas broke bread with Our Lord and was at one time a faithful disciple.  But he changed and betrayed Our Lord Jesus Christ - he lifted up his heel against Our Lord. So too these once faithful priests and bishops, who were faithful disciples of Archbishop Lefebvre have changed and betrayed the work of the Archbishop, they have lifted up their heel against him. The work of the Archbishop was nothing more but a continuation of what the Church has always done and always preached.

The Archbishop continued the true doctrine and faith of the Church when most overwhelmingly betrayed Our Lord and His Church - mostly from within. He walked in the footsteps of St. Athanasius and defend the honor of Our Lord Jesus Christ when so many, so so many, were trampling His honor underfoot.

These false priests and bishops are afraid of Bishop Williamson, afraid of being crushed. Such draconian 'oversight' is telling in and of itself. And once again, to draw the distinction, the Archbishop never HAD to function this way. He imitated Our Lord with a great deal of humility and meekness.  Priests and laity alike flocked to him, because he was preaching the truth. He did not have to hold them together with tyrannical threats.
