Catacombs has become the dreaded CathInfo. Shame on you. Right, because if you just say something, that automatically makes it true. No need to bother even attempting to show what you're on about or why anyone ought to feel shame. No no, just say "I'm right, you guys are wrong. Shame on you." Thanks for that contribution.

1. Yew wee. 2. What's that smell? 3. It's like a Cathinfo bathroom in here. Dear Exegete, Firstly we wish to congratulate you on the [self-appointed?] name you have chosen for yourself in this guest post. Although we have to admit we never would have guessed that you possessed the ability to function in that role, knowing that an exegete is one who makes critical interpretation of Holy Scripture. Perhaps you work for one of the following Catholic centres of biblical exegesis? - the École Biblique of Jerusalem founded in 1890 by the Dominican order's Marie-Joseph Lagrange
- the Pontifical Biblical Institute of Rome, a division of the Jesuit Gregorian University
One must confess, it is hard to reconcile the serious role of an exegete with the rather infantile, cartoon-esque post made by you here. However, it is because of the unsubstantiated nature of your post that we must issue the same warning recently issued to another guest poster who made similar [though not so infantile] comments about The Catacombs: God bless, Admin P.S. You will surely be pleased to know there is a Cathinfo thread about this very subject. I'm sure you will find a welcome home for yourself there. They have a particular affinity for your type of posts there.

1. Yew wee. 2. What's that smell? 3. It's like a Cathinfo bathroom in here. Actually, I have to agree with you, as like this thread needing to expose the hypocritical duplicit rot of Fr. Raphael cheating on us and those others such as dealing with the rot of Bishop Williamson he conveys. We have to quote their "smell" to draw out why it is foul and how to apply the disinfectant of the Church to exorcise it from souls. So the typical CI bathroom mess is always being left unclean in the false resistance and we are obliged to put a sign on the door saying "beware, bad for health and soul". So sorry for having to transport the smell and rot into our laboratories to dissect it, analyze, and report on it. Its the only way to be true to what we say. I can see though a neighbor only smelling from our premise thinking something is off, but that smell is only the specimen we examine here. If they would only knock on the door, such as yourself, and ask like an Exegete would do than to smear more rot having us to clean up at the door from courtesy lacking, we can provide more of the analysis with you. So yes, we contain the smelly specimens in these viles of reports when they come to prove to the world, indeed, the false resistance is rot and carries the principles of rot. Hope that helps to be good neighbors.

What part of such action isn't gossip? If you're truly sorry, why confess here?

Seems you imitate what you condemn. Fr. Rafael is providing mass for people who want it unlike the laisized Mr. Cordaro who isn't.

Exegete, It would appear you are in a situation where you are at a deficit. That is, it would appear by your posts that you are utterly unable to substantiate the accusations you make.
Once again, unsubstantiated statements are not allowed. Please do us the honor to offer some defense of what you write. Otherwise it remains meaningless. Again, there is a great appreciation for such posts and writings on other venues but you will find little patience for it here.
God bless.

Why do you call Fr. Cordaro, Mister? He isn't laicized. Only the Vatican can laicize. A bishop may remove a priest from his priestly duties but only the Pope/Vatican can laicize. Aren't you maligning and calumniating Fr. Cordaro?
Why cast such contempt on this priest for no reason? Oh wait, the reason must be that he visited Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Kentucky.
True, the novus ordo diocese in Scranton, Pennsylvania 'took away' his priestly faculties - from their novus ordo perspective, he didn't deserve them. But that only makes him just like every other traditional priest and bishop who isn't accepted by their local novus ordo diocese.
Just for a more complete understanding of the particular situation in Scranton, Pennsylvania:
While it is clear that this person also doesn't seem to understand that only a pope can laicize and continued to use that term as everyone else was using it, the comments are very clarifying about the traditional situation in the Scranton Novus Ordo Diocese.
Also from the same source as the above quote:

Exegete is the drama queen "Fanny" from Cathinfo. Says it all. She has nothing but personal anger toward Fr. Pfieffer in everything she posts. Can't have a straight sentence without an attack. Like everything!

Very true. There is a Pre and Post Vatican II understanding of Laicize. Pre-Vatican II - which is the only law of the Catholic Church, states that only the pope can remove a priest from the "loss of the clerical state" (Laicize). And it is done mostly on a voluntary basis through consent of both principles: the priest in question and the pope. No Bishop can do this or any other power on earth but the pope. This is not to be confused with removing "faculties" of a priest. That is two different things; and local bishops can do this. Laicize - means a pope releases the outward function of a priest (usually voluntary) from the duties and responsibilities that are connected to the clerical state (CCC 1583). Practically speaking, this would mean that a priest no longer functioned outwardly as a priest. He would no longer engage in ministry within his diocese or religious institute; no longer celebrate Mass or confer the sacraments; no longer be called “Father” or wear clerical clothing; and no longer be supported financially by the Church. Removing faculties - is a punishment to a priest that only disallows a priest from the licit permission to offer mass, give sacraments and preach within a certain diocese(s) or religious congregation. Read more here Can a Priest Ever Return to the Lay State?Post-Vatican II - Though there is still the underling distinction between Laicized and removing facilities, there is however an evolved understanding and usage more like an "annulment" mentality. That is, the new religion of Vatican II is based on the community. It is a horizontal religion where man is the center and therefore is the primary concern and focus of the good. Its priest evolved to a president and a social worker thus giving its understanding he can "change" status within the community and be "married", or other. Recalling their sacraments are more of social sacraments and "reconciliation" with their bond of unity being the human person around their own interpretation. So when this question of "laicize" comes up in conversation in our modern day it is stated more out of ignorance and in view of a community "annulment". Which it is not so; as explained above.
