Fr. Pfeiffer's severance from Archbishop Lefebvre

It seems that the old military adage, 'The best defense is a good offense,' is being used by OLMC.
Rather than focusing on defending the highly doubtful 'consecration' of Fr. Pfeiffer's, they have instead turned all their attention into an offensive attack against Fr. Hewko. Poor souls.
The latest accusations we hear over and over, the same sound bites from both seminarians and laity are: 'Fr. Hewko focuses too much on Archbishop Lefebvre.'
Obviously the irony is lost on OLMC and it's followers that these words could just as easily come from Bishop Fellay and the new-SSPX. We all knew the SSPX lost it's way when it abandoned and discarded it's founder (Archbishop Lefebvre) and started on a new path. OLMC, in it's zeal to disparage Fr. Hewko, seems to have not noticed that they have placed themselves in the exact same position as the new/conciliar SSPX.
Another ignorant statement being repeated in OLMC circles is that 'We belong to the Church of Jesus, not Archbishop Lefebvre.'
Amazing! While such a statement might be expected from an ignorant, Novus Ordo Catholic, it is inexcusable from a priest ordained by the same Society founded by Archbishop Lefebvre!
If there was a true separation between the Catholic Church and Archbishop Lefebvre, then on a very simple level:
- Fr. Pfeiffer never should have entered a seminary founded by Archbishop Lefebvre;
- Fr. Pfeiffer should have never become a priest in the Society of Archbishop Lefebvre;
- Fr. Pfeiffer should not have remained a priest in the Society of Archbishop Lefebvre all these years;
- Fr. Pfeiffer should never have made the following denunciation against the SSPX [from The Recusant]:We find in 2012 a public profession of another Faith [by the SSPX] than the one we received from Archbishop Lefebvre, the same Faith from 2,000 years ago when the Church was founded.
But the fury and fervor that is leading OLMC to condemn Fr. Hewko and Archbishop Lefebvre (simultaneously) is blinding them to their own hypocrisy.
Sadly, Fr. Pfeiffer - in his condemnation of Fr. Hewko for holding fast to the teachings of the Church and to Archbishop Lefebvre - has seemingly forgotten and/or abandoned the words to which he is a signatory:
It is twenty five years since the death of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. This prelate saved the Catholic Faith, Mass and priesthood, which otherwise would have been lost. The primacy of Doctrine is consistently emphasized by Divine Revelation, the Church’s Magisterium and our founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. The Catholic Church remains integrally One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic until the end of time. Her nature cannot change. The Vatican II conciliar church with its new doctrine, new priesthood, new Mass, new sacraments, new catechisms, new Bible, new “miracles’” and new “saints” has not the same nature of the Catholic Church of “Eternal Rome”. Therefore it is another church, separate and not Catholic.
In 2012 it became clear that the Superior General of the SSPX, Bishop Bernard Fellay and his collaborators had abandoned the line of our founder Archbishop Lefebvre and were taking the SSPX in a new direction, one of compromising the Faith by accepting the errors of Vatican II. As a result, since 2012, a Resistance movement, consisting of a handful of priests and faithful, has fought to maintain fidelity to the Faith and the Archbishop, rejecting this compromise.

By doing this, with the grace of God and the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and that of St. Joseph and St. Pius X, we are assured of remaining faithful to the Roman Catholic Church and to all the successors of Peter, and of being the fideles dispensatores mysteriorum Domini Nostri Jesu Christi in Spiritu Sancto. Let us remain with those good priests who remain faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church, who remain faithful to Archbishop Lefebvre (which is after all, the raison d'être of the True Resistance -following the line of Archbishop Lefebvre) who himself faithfully 'transmitted what he received' from the Church to the priestly Society he founded.
Let us remember:
It was NOT Fr. Hewko who sought out a Feeneyite, sedevacantist, garage "bishop" to consecrate him - that was Fr. Pfeiffer.
It was NOT Fr. Hewko who tried to force Moran on us - that was Fr. Pfeiffer.
It was NOT Fr. Hewko who has abandoned Archbishop Lefebvre - that IS Fr. Pfeiffer.
