The Catacombs is moving - kind of!

Dear friends,
I am in the process of transitioning The Catacombs to a new site, essentially building it anew from the ground up, or 're-platforming' it.
As some of you might be aware, Proboards is the current hosting platform of The Catacombs. Since March there has been a warning in the admin section of the forum:
! IMPORTANT POLICY ANNOUNCEMENT: In order to protect the public, ProBoards has instituted a policy which prohibits the posting of misinformation related to the COVID-19 outbreak. More details are available on our Support Forum.
This is strikingly similar to the same censorship widely seen by the mainstream media and other media giants. So it is in an effort to protect what we have here, a forum migration process has been started.
As soon as new information/updates become available, they will be posted as replies to this thread.
I don't yet have a time frame on when the finished new forum will be ready - my hope is it will be ready in a few weeks. Maybe sooner.
For a quicker and smoother transition, I may leave this "old" site with all the posts here intact, with a slightly different URL (copying the most important posts onto the new site). So basically, there will likely be an "archived" site here and the newer, censorship-free site elsewhere. All this may be necessary because Proboards doesn't easily allow migration of information/posts/data from their sites. Again, as the specifics are worked through, I will keep everyone updated.
As can be expected, some things will be exactly the same (i.e. most of the boards and sub-boards: Archbishop Lefebvre, Church Teachings, Fr. Hewko's Mass Schedule and Sermons, etc.). Unavoidably, some things will be a little different. Exactly how much will be different, I won't know until the process is nearly completed. I am confident there will be some improvements too!
I will likely "bump" this thread regularly so that all are aware of the migration.
Let me know in a PM or here if you have any questions.
God bless you all!
May I beg a short prayer for the good soul giving much of his time to help with the technical aspects of this transition!
Ad majorem Dei gloriam!
