Are you saying every member here has a unique IP address and no two come from the same location? I would find that hard to believe. Perhaps it would be better to repair the problem across the board than single out one.

-- What caught my eye was this: "Never left the SSPX order; never choose to leave the SSPX order, never promote to leave the SSPX order" It doesn't matter that they chose to leave or not. Fact is, they were kicked out. They can't call themselves sspx-anything any longer, because they are not. MM, or jmj, or nightowl, I see you are trolling all over the place dropping bird stuff with no meaning but to fertilize plants. Perceptions are not facts. I understand you want to separated the SSPX-mc priests to get them out of the way from your bias of Bishop Williamson, and separate them from anything ABL, and separate them from anything Catholic, and anything Catholic Church. I see it. Your a divisionist.
The problem on your latest crystal ball is when catholic priests are "kicked out" as you say, they have a canonical right to appeal it. They asked and were denied by Bishop Fellay and their other superiors. Just the same as the modernists did to ABL in 1975 trying to illegally suppress him and the Society of St. Pius X. ABL sought appeal and they denied him. He smiled and continued as the Church prescribes. Same here. The SSPX-mc priests continue the SSPX in their ordination, promises, statues, and constitution.
We understand the false resistance doesn't like it. It is a throne for wanton progressiveness.

I would find it hard to believe that everyone here has only one user for their family. When bullies have nothing else to go on, they come out with personal attacks. I will no longer wonder why the resistance is not growing. Revolutionaries will always be revolutionaries and will always beget revolutionaries.

I'm not sure what you are referring to here. It would seem you are trying to address multiple issues?
To your last sentence, you posted that same thought elsewhere and I asked you then to please elaborate or support your comments but that was never done. And those same unsupported comments are now imported here as well but again there is no context. For the sake of charity for the other forum members and guests, please try to stay on topic and help us to understand where you are going with these comments.

The Catacombs has no wish to re-hash what has already been discussed and proven here over and over that demonstrates the errors in their thinking and writing. We continue to have fond memories of us all working together for several years in the defense of the Faith. It pained us very much that OLSC/Cor Mariae decided to go down a different road. It was out of respect for our past friendship that we did not address their issues on The Catacombs as soon as Cor Mariae/OLSC made their new direction public. We waited and tried to address our concerns there on their website [Cor Mariae]. But soon, very soon, the thread was locked and only "approved" replies were allowed [thus the errors in their writings had to be addressed here].
This severe censoring against anyone who disagreed with them continues now. Though in the last day or so, this approach has been slightly altered and one can reply to their thread. But all replies are under quarantine for "spam" filtering that include the words "lying" or "dishonesty". This is an interesting stance as spam usually doesn't include those words but dissenting words do include the words "lying" and "dishonesty". One reads that each and every reply on Cor Mariae [and not just this one thread] is now under quarantine "due to countless spam invaders".
Once again, I repeat, it is with great sadness we see this response from OLSC/Cor Marie. Everything to them is personal. "Attacks against OLSC intensified", "combined forces....have continued their attacks", etc.
It was they who made their issues public, on a public forum no less, and apparently expected only laudatory feedback. A forum by nature, allows for dissenting opinion. If they didn't want any reply to their public position, they should have kept their issues to themselves. They made them public. And now when those who pointed out the errors in their words and thinking spoke up, now OLSC/Cor Mariae come back over and over and insist that they are under attack. Again, it is all very sad. This was never personal. This was about the truth of a situation, the discussion of which was heavily censored on Cor Mariae.
One could point out many other errors in their thinking and words in just the above paragraph but it would only embarrass them more. Very sad.
It appears that through improvements on their site - the quarantine has been lifted on Cor Marie - there are two similar posts now that clarify this situation:
Apparently the discussion of the issues of OLSC can now be once again (?)freely discussed there.

One of the big ones here is maintaining charity in posts. If this continues to be a monumental task for you please do not feel obligated to stay.
If the milieu here was truly draconian, you would have been long gone. Rather, every opportunity has been extended for meaningful posts from you. I do hope as do others, that you will continue to contribute in a meaningful way.

One cannot help but wonder if Cor Mariae/OLSC realize the full implications of their unceasing monologues against Fr. Pfeiffer? [One can say 'monologue' because they continue to only allow posts that fully support their version of reality. Anyone else who was there and present at their meetings is silenced and not allowed to speak on Cor Mariae.]
But back to my point: does OLSC realize what they are doing?
What priest, in his right mind, would even consider helping them after the way they have treated the last priests who have helped them? Who would sign up to be publicly maligned, harassed, and cut to ribbons once the OLSC lay group decides he is not obeying them?
This continued series of public posts on Cor Mariae attacking Fr. Pfeiffer and Fr. Hewko has sealed their fate. NO priest would want to help a small gathering of lay souls, who can for months on end, attack and recycle old arguments against him in a public and disrespectful manner.
They say that pride blinds...

Because it is about a brand. An olsc marketing brand. Just like the fall of the false resistance, many of their personalities want an image and will go to great lengths, even slander, to protect their pet-brand OVER being a catholic.

Same with the Jews who rejected Jesus Christ, because He didn't fit the image they dreamed about.

It is in charity that once again we must address some of the erroneous statements made on the Cor Mariae site recently. It is always with great sadness that we must to do so. But an imperfect understanding of the crisis of the Faith and especially of the work and words of Archbishop Lefebvre are once again manifesting themselves and being publicly disseminated on that site. Hence our response here.
+++
The following post was made today, August 23rd:
POINT NUMBER ONE: "No religious organisation or parish can be be set up without recourse to the Pope granting jurisdiction through a Bishop of a diocese."
This is true. In the normal times of the Church, no bishop nor priest can set up jurisdiction for himself. The bishop must be ordered by the pope to function in a certain diocese and the priests are ordered by their bishop to function in a certain diocesan parish.
But what about in the times of crisis? Can a priest or bishop function within someone else's diocese and still remain true to the Faith? Our Catholic Church History has shown this to be possible many times. Recall the times of the Arian crisis - where more than 80% of the priests and bishops were heretical Arians:
St. Athanasius reminds his faithful [during that same Arian crisis] that the actual exterior diocesan buildings don't make the Church: St.Basil of Cappodocia writes the same during the same Arian crisis - 372A.D. :
Being driven from the exterior buildings of the Catholic Church when it is under assault is nothing new for Catholics. We have not even mentioned here the other crises of the Church, the Protestant crisis especially in England where the Churches were all taken over, and the Church in Ireland - also persecuted as a result of the Protestant Revolution. Ireland has several famous 'Mass Rocks' where outdoor Masses were said by traveling priests to bring the sacraments to the Faithful.
From the earliest days, the Church has shown Her motherly love and made provision for when Her children are under attack. It is known as operating in a State of Necessity. The Church in the time of the Arians was in a State of Necessity. The Church in the time of the English Reformation was in a State of Necessity. This has been amply proven and shown here on The Catacombs, quoting Catholic sources, and not private opinion [something terribly lacking in the arguments made on Cor Mariae].
Let us look now at more recent times. Let us look at Archbishop Lefebvre. Archbishop Lefebvre, as a matter of historical fact, legally and canonically founded the Society of St. Pius X, with its primary goal of forming priests. [What were these priests supposed to do, according to Cor Mariae once they were ordained?] The SSPX under the Archbishop responded to the calls of the faithful all over the world and brought the Mass and the sacraments to souls that requested them from traditional, doctrinally sound priests. The SSPX did not set up any parishes. With the large swath of laity responding to their priestly ministry, they set up priorys for the larger collections of faithful and continued to send priests out to the areas with fewer faithful on a continual basis. To be an SSPX priests always meant a lot of travel, animated with true missionary spirit.
That we are in another time of crisis in the Church few will deny. So the SSPX since its inception [before its reorientation in 2012 to 'reconcile' with the unconverted Conciliar authorities in Rome] has done what the Church has always done, as commanded by Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself,
The priests cannot disobey God to obey men. The priests must preach the gospel, in season and out of season:
If the Conciliar authorities try to silence the gospel, those good traditional priests have no choice but to obey God rather than men:
There is no setting up of formal parishes by anyone, least of all the priests of OLMC. They continue the work of Archbishop Lefebvre and the Holy Catholic Church and preach the gospel from the pulpit, or in the airport, or anywhere else souls come to them seeking the Truth. Holy Scripture tells us again, ""No man lighteth a candle, and putteth it in a hidden place, nor under a bushel; but upon a candlestick, that they that come in, may see the light." -Luke 11:33. We know that Our Lord is the Light of the World. The priests and the bishops have a duty to preach Our Lord Jesus Christ Crucified.
It really makes one wonder what role exactly do the folks at Cor Mariae envision for the priests, since they clearly know more than the priests on how to act. If the priests didn't travel and bring the sacraments as the OLMC and many other traditional independent priests have done since Vatican II, what exactly are they supposed to do? Follow the poor advice of Bishop Williamson and 'hunker down' and not attempt to convert souls from error because:
Their position remains unclear except that they have a newly-found strong dislike for Fr. Pfeiffer in particular and take every opportunity to lash out at him publicly. But in doing so, they expose their own lack of understanding of the role of the priests and bishops during times of crisis in the Church. The beginning statements are proof of this. Yes, we all know that in normal times, no one besides the pope or bishops can create new dioceses or parishes. But the conflation and dishonesty starts when the rules during normal times are applied to abnormal times and circumstances. And the priests are judged and then condemned for adjusting for the abnormalities.
POINT NUMBER TWO: " The reason the thread is locked is because no personal opinion can change this fact [that only the pope has jurisdiction to set up a parish]. No individual has any authority whatsoever. "
We unfortunately see here the same controlled narrative continuing on Cor Mariae. We see more conflation. With no one allowed to correct or address these errors there.
As we just mentioned above, of course in normal times, no one can interfere in the jurisdiction that belongs to the dioceses. No one is contesting that. What has been said ad nauseam since Vatican II, from Fr. Calmel to Fr. Hesse to Fr. Gommar de Paw to Archbishop Lefebvre - is that the priests who are faithful to the Church and to Tradition have a duty to act and defend that Church from all attacks, either from without or from within. It is a duty to bring the Mass and the sacraments to the faithful. The Church as a duty to organize herself when attacked. Hence Archbishop Lefebvre consecrated four bishops to carry on the priesthood and the Sacrament of Confirmation. All throughout his writings he is clear he is only continuing what the Catholic bishops have done for centuries. And the priests formed under him continue his work, the work of Tradition.
Cor Mariae has made it abundantly clear that they are a few souls who want to be autonomous. They insist upon no priestly authority over them.
Well, all one can say to that is: Be careful what you wish for!
+++
[Cor Mariae has been repeating this erroneous application of how the priests function during times of crisis many times over these last months, up to and including their most recent newsletter's editorial:
"...Catholics need to be beware of the dangers associated with trusting a singular 'traditional' priest or traditional groups of priests setting up their own 'parishes'. God knew what he was doing when he created the Chair of Peter to keep the priesthood united under the Pope." It was this continued repetition of that error that prompted us to sadly have to address this yet again.]

I do not understand why they are behaving with an all or nothing group mentality restricting and prohibiting a priest from giving sacraments. Isn't this crisis big enough?

I do not understand why they are behaving with an all or nothing group mentality restricting and prohibiting a priest from giving sacraments. Isn't this crisis big enough? There have been many who have commented to us that what CM and OLSC have been doing is an all-out campaign against the OLMC Fathers, both publicly and privately. In this, they have become indistinguishable from Cathinfo. But God is a just God. We shall all reap what we sow. We can only continue to pray for them.
