The New Cult of the New Conciliar Religion
Let us go now, if you please, to the new cult, which corresponds to the new dogma.
Well ! first of all, in the new worship, we are told that the main act of the redemption of Our Lord, his first Mass which he celebrated on the cross after the Mass of the Last Supper, therefore the main act of redemption does not consist in the Savior's cross, but rather in the glorious resurrection and ascension of Our Lord.
It would be by His resurrection and ascension that Our Lord would save us. Indeed, God crowns the work of redemption and fully manifests his love, the Father's love for us, by resurrecting his Son, since God is not the God of the dead but of the living. And that's all. This is what Pope John Paul II declares. Therefore, the cross of Christ is a rather secondary event in redemption, the essential work being the resurrection and ascension of the Savior.
2. - The priesthood of Our Lord is primarily heavenly
Then we are told that the principal act of the priesthood of Our Lord Jesus Christ - Our Lord Jesus Christ as priest - does not consist in the bloody offering of His sacrifice on the cross, but, essentially, in His celestial priesthood, through which, crossing the tent of the heavenly sanctuary, he presents himself to his Father with his blood.
So, we will deny that the main act of the priesthood is the offering of the sacrifice of Our Lord on his cross. We will focus on the celestial priesthood ; and this is not new: in 1958, it was professed by Father Joseph Lécuyer, future successor of Archbishop Lefebvre at the head of the Congregation of the Fathers of the Holy Spirit. These heresies date from before the Council; they were propagated by the Council and after the Council.
3. - Mass is the memorial of all the great deeds of the life of Christ
Then we are told that the Mass is not the bloodless renewal of passion, no, we can not say that anymore: the Mass is the memorial of all the great deeds of Christ during his life, so, no not only his passion, but also his resurrection, his ascension and, why not, his incarnation, his presentation to the Temple, finally, in short, all the deeds of Christ.
It is a matter of memory, and that is what makes the mass! But our catechism teaches us - all the same! - that it is the consecration which carries out the mass, and the theology the best exposes us, in fact, that which is signified by the separate consecration of bread and wine, therefore of the body and the blood of Christ, which is signified is produced mysteriously: a sacramental immolation is carried out, namely, the separation of the body and the blood, by the very power of the words of the priest; under the appearance of bread is directly the body, while under the appearance of wine is directly the precious blood of Christ.
Certainly, not really separated since, by real concomitance, they are both under each of the two species, but the fact remains that by the force of words, what is achieved is a separation of body and blood of Christ, sacramental separation. Therefore, the role of consecration at Mass is absolutely denied. It's just a memorial.
4. Mass is valid even without the words of consecration
Then, Mass, we are told - it is Cardinal Ratzinger who discovered this a few months ago - the mass is valid even without the words of the consecration. Yes, you all read that, we explained it to you; it is a recent declaration of Cardinal Ratzinger with his International Theological Commission: Mass is valid even without the words of consecration!
So, what's the use of a priest? Indeed, the Christian people can celebrate Mass, the priest is not used for anything since there is no need to pronounce the words of the consecration for the mass to be valid. Even devoid of the words of Christ, the mass is worth, the mass is valid!
5. - The Community liturgical action objectifies the mysteries of Christ and especially his paschal mystery
Then we are told that Christ, during Mass, is made present, yes, but made present with all his salvific mysteries and not by the "magical work" of consecration - which is a "magical" work - but by the experience of the community liturgical action which objectifies the mysteries of Christ. Thus, the mystery of Christ, especially the paschal mystery, becomes the mystery of worship.
This is what we are told, especially Annibal Bugnini, linchpin of the liturgical reform. So, it is not a question of consecrating the body and the blood of Christ, but of speaking together, actively, communally, liturgically, all the mystery of Christ, especially his paschal mystery - thus, by highlighting the resurrection and the ascension of Christ.
6. - The common priesthood of the faithful
Finally, last heresy, dear faithful - I am really sorry for this flood of heresies which is hardly worthy of a sermon obviously - the common priesthood of the faithful is exercised during the Eucharistic memorial. The active participation of the faithful must therefore be given more space so that they may exercise their common priesthood, the priest simply presiding over these words of the memorial.
Conclusion: The new religion is a gnosis
I conclude: both in its dogmas and in its worship, the new religion has emptied our Catholic religion of its substance. The passion of Our Lord only serves to reveal in a very intellectual and abstract way the love of God the Father for us. As for the love of Christ for his Father or for us, we do not know. And then, on the other hand, the Christian worship is only a memory : to become aware, in short, of the great work of the great deeds of Christ, to become so aware that this work becomes present in the assembly in prayer, like a common self-awareness.
This new religion is nothing else, dear faithful, than a gnosis . I think that is the word that characterizes it perfectly, since it is a religion without sin, without justice, without mercy, without penance, without conversion, without virtue, without sacrifice, without effort, but simply a self-awareness . It is a purely intellectual religion, it is pure gnosis.
So, dear future deacons and priests, rest assured that I do not ordain you deacons or priests to be deacons and priests of this Gnostic religion. And I am convinced that such was also your intention today to receive the Catholic priesthood, from the hands of the Catholic Church, and not to receive a Gnostic priesthood from the hands of some gnostic system.
Let us reject with horror, dearest faithful, dearest ordinands, this naturalist, intellectualist religion, which has nothing to do with the Catholic religion , and let us, on the contrary, be firmly and ever more firmly convinced of the reason of our struggle. of the reason of our priesthood.
Dear Ordinands, you are proud to receive your priesthood in the Catholic Church, from the hand of a Catholic bishop, from all these bishops who have succeeded in transmitting the Catholic priesthood in its doctrinal purity, from which flows its true charity pastoral. Be happy today to receive in the Catholic Church, the Catholic priesthood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the priesthood of Padre Pio, the priesthood of all the holy priests, of a saintly parish priest. Ars, the priesthood of the apostles, the priesthood lived with the Apostles the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, of which we are celebrating today a beautiful feast. Well, let us entreat the Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of the priesthood, mother of the priests - mother of the High Priest and mother of the priests - to keep us very faithful to the Catholic priesthood.
