I think this is a great documentary. Shows that what happened is real. I am going to see if we can watch with just English sub-titles only. Was a little hard to understand. But, pictures are worth a thousand words. I really don't know much about Stalin's evils, just the basics. I would like to read a book about it if anyone can recommend some titles.

Ruthy,
You may find Warren H. Carroll's book, 1917: Red Banners, White Mantle, a useful resource from the Catholic perspective on the Russian Revolution. The book doesn't cover Stalin, however, only to about the early 1920's.
Available here from Amazon. It's Amazon description is as follows: Another book that many find helpful is The Naked Communist, particularly Volume I, available here from Amazon. I just realized there is a Volume II and The Naked Socialist by the same author, by W. Cleon Skousen. However, Volume I is much less expensive here, on the Our Lady of Victory (homeschool) website.
God bless.

Thank you for the information! Thank you also for the historical stories you have added to your website from old Angelus Press magazines. They are great resources to use for history.

Read The Gulag Archipelago Vol 1-3 by Alexander Solzhenitsyn.
