The following is a report that states that the new Archbishop of Zaragoza, Spain withdraws his predecessor's "permission" for the SSPX to say the traditional (or in Conciliar speak, the "extraordinary") form of the Mass. In their anxiousness to properly seek permission for the canonized Tridentine Mass -a permission was unceremoniously revoked, though with his "affection and blessing," by the new Archbishop - the SSPX now must decide whether or not to still say the Tridentine Mass for the souls in that area and potentially anger the new Archbihsop of Zaragoza, or to remain politically correct and stop offering Tridentine Masses in that diocese.
As you read the below report, keep in mind these wise and sage words of Archbishop Lefebvre [from the Rome cannot be Trusted section of his Quotes here on The Catacombs]:
“Then there are some who would be ready to sacrifice the fight for the Faith, by saying: Let us first re-enter the Church! Let us do everything to re-enter in the official public structure of the Church. Let us be silent about our dogmatic problem. Let us be silent about our fight. Let us not speak about the malice of the [new] Mass anymore. Let us close our mouths and say nothing anymore. Let’s not be opposed to that. Let’s not say anything anymore about the issues of religious liberty, of human rights and of ecumenism. Let’s be silent. Let’s be silent and like that we will be able to re-enter into the structure of the Church. We will please those who are in the Church. We are going to re-enter like that into the Church, and once we will be inside the Church, you will see, we will be able to fight, we will be able to do this, we will be able to do that… This is absolutely false! You don’t enter into a structure and under superiors, saying that you will overthrow everything as soon as you are inside, whereas they have all the means to suppress us! They have all the authority.” (Conference December 21, 1984)

FSSPX hands over to the enemy for the sake of Legalism
What has just happened in Spain is perhaps anecdotal but very revealing of a routed army which abdicates in front of the enemy.
The SSPX district superior asks a local bishop to renew his authorization to say [the traditional, "extraordinary"] Mass in a place. This excess of zeal and legalism [produced] the opposite result: the bishop was not aware of the authorization which had been granted and therefore decides to put an end to the celebration of the traditional Mass in this place.
[...] the new priests of the new SSPX have almost no idea of the modernist enemies who are opposite. [They] talk with them, [they] dialogue with them, [they] seek a canonical agreement with them. And in the end [they] get rolled by them.
Zaragoza, December 18, 2019
P. Philippe Brunet Superior of the SSPX in Spain
Casa San Jose
28607 EL ÁLAMO (Madrid)
Dear P. Philippe:
I received your kind written letter of December 13, 2019, in which he asks me to renew the permit to celebrate the Holy Mass in the extraordinary form, which my predecessor, Monsignor Manuel Ureña, granted aloud, through the priest D. Waldir Consuega, former pastor of Calaceite. In response to this letter, I communicate the following:
1. I had no knowledge of the subject until now.
2. I am not renewing the permit, because I know that in Calaceite there are not enough people to celebrate Holy Mass in an extraordinary way. The participants belong to other parishes which are not from the diocese of Zaragoza. In addition, it is not practical for the full communion of the parish community of Calaceite.
3. With the same date, I send a copy of this letter to the current parish priest, Rev. Mr. Arturo Hollman Ladino Gutiérrez, in order not to authorize Father José M Jiménez, in charge of the Region of Catalonia and Aragon, the celebration in one of the parishes, which he entrusted to his pastoral ministry.
With my affection and my blessing, + dicentefimeur Anobisp be + Vicente Jiménez Zamora Archbishop of Zaragoza
