As some of you may be aware Fr. Pfeiffer recently sent two emails to Fr. Hewko. Fr. Pfeiffer apparently felt it was necessary to also share those same emails with several laity. As is to be expected, these have been forwarded and shared several times now.
Since these private emails have taken on a public airing, it seems necessary for some clarifications for the sake of truth and souls.
Although many half-truths and misconstrued accounts could be set straight at length, let it suffice to restate some basic reasons why Fr. Hewko had to leave OLMC in the first place. Fr. Hewko has long let it be known that such a decision was not rash nor desired because of the importance of a seminary, but many, many warnings from fellow priests, laity, and Fr. Hewko himself, were given to avoid Moran because of the mounting evidence of his dubiousness and other serious problems. These were all being ignored. With these things in mind, here is his response:

May God be glorified through trials and tribulations! My response is simple: My reasons for having to leave OLMC, still stand.
They are: Moran; a layman placed as "chief in charge" with unlimited authority, even over the Seminary Rule; and the questionable "conditional ordination" done by Moran and the appearance of its ongoing approval by sending that priest out, without a conditional ordination, properly done.
Also, let Abp. Marcel Lefebvre be known in his own consistent words and actions. Can anyone find him defending the New Rites as free from some doubt due to the changes since Vatican Council II?
Thank you, and please remember me in your prayers! To Our Lady goes the Victory!
In Christ the King,
Fr. Hewko

We all understand the immense gravity of the actual sacramental use of a dubious bishop. It is absolutely contrary to the mind of the Church, Canon Law, moral theology and good sense. It basically entails the start of a new sect that the Catholic Church would have to condemn in 50 years and conditionally reordain those who were subject to his doubtful holy orders, in the future, and a grave injustice to the well-intentioned candidates to the priesthood!
