This weeks EC #553, "Parenting Today-1", is another irony presenting itself. Bishop Williamson portrays a lamentation that parents are not doing their job providing for their children. He says, quoting another author, the children are:
Bishop Williamson ends by saying, will God permit a punishment of society for lack of this duty? He thinks so, he says, "Wait for it!"
If that is true, then how can he justify his own derelict of duty not wanting to proselytize for the Church and world? Bishop Williamson said:

Who is creating an indifferent Church and world the children are not interested in?
So what is "parenting" for Bishop Williamson? What is it he wants the parents to do for them? He says they should read Condemned books, because, he doesn't care what the Church says about it, he gets something out of it and so you parents should read it to your children as a bed time story.
What about vocations. Has Bishop Williamson ever promoted vocations in the last six-years since choosing to be a vagabond bishop? No! not once has he promoted vocations in any of his Eleison Comments, sermons, conference -- not once!
So is this new Epistle of BW more lip service of 2018 like Bishop Fellay is doing trying to brand himself?
Apparently so. What they say and do are two different things.
Wonder what his next EC, "Parenting Today-2" is going to say? Not holding my breathe.
Seems once and a while we get an appearance of something Catholic (authored by another) and every other time something "updating" to modern times. After all, he said, "The essential PRINCIPLE is do whatever you need to keep the faith."
- Profoundly ignorant of the crisis in Church and world.
- Not because they have not been taught, but for lack of interest.
- They cannot explain on their own what is wrong with the New Mass.
- Never having had to fight, to defend their beliefs or to resist, and so never having studied for themselves, when they meet the world they easily give way.
- They want to be like everybody else , they do not want to be different
- They lack the personal conviction to stand up for Catholic Tradition.
- And so instead of being Apostles of Christ, little by little they go with the flow..
- Where will there be tomorrow the good vocations, the good Christian families we so urgently need? Vocations grow rare, marriages grow weak or dry up altogether, formation grows soft, immaturity takes over.
- The boys lack character, sense of responsibility, generosity, self-control, everything that parents should be inculcating in them to turn them into the men we can rely on for tomorrow: men chaste, mature, thoughtful, hard-working, magnanimous. Without such men of conviction, where will be the heads of tomorrow’s families? The girls are also being reared in disorder.
- Thus acquiring a spirit of independence.
- Parents, do you realize what you need to be giving to your children for their future in today’s world? You must for God’s sake form your boys to be men worthy of the name and your girls to be women worthy of the name.
- Do your duty. Otherwise, your children risk losing their souls, and Christendom is finished.

- I don't think we need to be too concerned to bring souls towards us because people just don't understand today. They don't have ears to hear." (Bishop Williamson, Banquet speech after consecrating Bishop Zendejas, May 12, 2017, youtube.com/watch?v=hetZgRGZafA ).
- "Such are the disputes, divisions, confusion and chaos in Catholic hearts and minds being caused by the churchmen’s hollowing out of their authority by their abandoning of God’s Truth, that many a clear-sighted Catholic can already be preferring to keep silent rather than attempt to argue or to teach. A mass of modern minds are so incapable any longer of thinking or reasoning that any attempt to dispel their errors can seem to risk only increasing their confusion." (Bishop Williamson, Eleison Comments, #513)
- "[We have] no ambition either to save or to convert either the Newchurch or the Newsociety." (Eleison Comments, #514)
- “Therefore, in my opinion, be content to attend the least contaminated Tridentine Mass that there is any-where near you…” (Bishop Williamson, Eleison Comments #505)
- "There is still something Catholic in the conciliar church, so it’s wrong for us to reject it completely.” (Bp. Williamson, Eleison Comments #447)
- “The Novus Ordo Mass may have been allowed by God to make it easier for Catholics to leave the Faith if they wanted to, but not impossible to keep it if they wanted to.” (‘Eleison Comments’ #438, 30th November 2015)
- "Therefore, there are cases when even the Nouv Ordo Mass can be attended with an effect of building ones faith, instead of losing it." (Bishop Williamson, conference in Mahopac NY (usa), June 2015)
- "If they can trust their own judgement, that attending this mass will do them more good than harm, spiritually." (Bishop Williamson, conference in Mahopac NY (usa), June 2015)
- "The essential PRINCIPLE is do whatever you need to keep the faith." (Bishop Williamson, conference in Mahopac NY (usa), June 2015)
- "Therefore, I will not say every single person must stay away from every single NOM." (Bishop Williamson, conference in Mahopac NY (usa), June 2015)
