I have seen for a few days an alleged report that Menzingen is refusing to ordain two deacons from the Morgon Capuchins this coming June 2018. For what reason is not clear; though, there is a rumor this time it is speculated to be the Capuchins need to apologize for their support signing the letter of the seven sspx deans against Menzingen's narrative for conciliar marriages. Whatever be the case however, what is clear is Menzingen uses the sacraments as weapons and the Capuchins have remained consistent to be accordists shown in their alignment and public support for the conciliaration of the neo-sspx and its consequential updating for themselves. Despite the claims from third parties wanting it different, they only see a Capuchin shadow. Morgon has stated many times they will not be leaving the side of the neo-sspx anytime soon. Morgon's regular apostolate and support of the neo-sspx is seen again recently with one of their priests Père Joseph (ex-sspx district superior, Fr. de Cacqueray) at the taking of the cassock in Flavigny Feb. 2, 2018, here. So these threats are common by Menzingen refusing to ordain other deacons as it happened another time also in 2012 against the Capuchins and the Avrile Dominicans for hesitating their support after the 2012 blowup -- until they both put tail between legs and came back in line to Menzingen. Anyone associated with the new-Menzingen needs to get used to it; they are conciliarised. What will Morgon do this time, capitulate again? For sure the Capuchins cannot say they are not aware of the crisis and civil war within the neo-sspx. They also know what is the principled position of the Catholic Resistance, but instead, and a fact, they choose to remain in the conciliar-sspx house. Certainly their lack of conviction is a scandal associated to PAX priests against the forthrightness of Christ. There is no longer an excuse saying they do not know anymore, their 6-years of betrayals are loud and clear. Time will tell. We'll pray for them.

Menzingen (FSSPX) refuses to order the Morgon Capuchins
The news is confirmed. The Superior General of the Society of Saint Pius X has just served the Capuchins of Morgon with his refusal to confer the priesthood on the two Capuchin deacons to be ordained in June. This is unfortunately not a first.
Already in 2012, Bishop Fellay had banned ordinations candidates Dominicans of Avrillé and those of the sons of St. Francis . Reason: their "unconfident" attitude about the doctrinal preamble that would endorse the rallying of the SSPX to conciliar Rome, preamble that Bishop Fellay removed a few months later ... The reason for the 2018 refusal is again a problem of trust . By June 2016, the Capuchins had expressed their disagreement with the authorities of the Brotherhood who sought to reach a purely canonical agreement with Rome. Such an agreement passed the very serious doctrinal discrepancies, which, however, obliged the current Roman authorities to be regarded as suspicious of heresy. Not long before, in March 2016, Father Antoine, Guardian of the convent of Morgon, declared in a video realized by MPI-TV not being able to " celebrate and participate in this jubilee of Mercy ", since this one celebrated everything to the both a false mercy and the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council. Such a declaration had upset Menzingen, who for its part was publicly encouraging this celebration. What has also strongly angered the superiors of the fraternity, it is an intolerable act of charity posed by the order beggar who dared to welcome, collect rather, simply helped sometimes, some confreres in cold with their superior general, not to share the "accordist" line of Menzingen. But the trigger was the support of traditional communities friends to the seven deans. We remember how they expressed, in May 2017, their reservations on "the marriage business": it was not so much Rome that recognized our marriages, as the FSSPX, which placed all the marriages of the Tradition under the thumb the new Code of Canon Law, unacceptable in this respect. Here again, the losses and profits were substantial: the true nature of the state of necessity engendered by the crisis of the Church. Hence the unanimous support of friendly communities to the seven deans. Some thought that Bishop Fellay's "electoral tour" at the end of October 2017 in all friendly communities was a sign of appeasement, or at least a truce, pending the general chapter of July 2018. Mr. Abbe Bouchacourt, who accompanied Bishop Fellay on this tour, had made it clear. We see that it is not, despite the allegations of the latter, which today claims with decibels " loyalty, loyalty, I want loyalty " (sic)! Source

The administrator of the Resistance catholique website posted the following: "Bishop de Galaretta is currently at the convent of St. Francis of Morgon. He will confer confirmations tomorrow at the convent.
What about the ordinations refused for the month of June?
How can one explain such an ambiguous attitude on the part of both Morgon and a bishop in the service of Menzingen?
All this does not reflect the evangelical simplicity proper to the seraphic order.
Wouldn't this be the foretaste of the annihilation of a hitherto very tenuous hope."Source: resistance.vraiforum.com/t591-Mgr-de-Galaretta-a-Morgon.htm

For priestly ordinations always the status quo...Maybe, later, in Bellaigues."

The administrator of the Resistance catholique website posted the following: Perhaps the SSPX has decided its politically expedient to keep as many 'traditional groups' under its umbrella in the context of going into the General Chapter elections. Or perhaps its expedient to offer to Rome an SSPX and all their friends, so now the SSPX has to play and make nice?

Just to keep you up to date about where the Capuchins of Morgon are regarding the SSPX, the Capuchins were present at the SSPX Chartres pilgrimage this past weekend (May 19-21, 2018). On the French Resistance website, someone commented: “ It’s a shame to continue to see the Capuchins at all the major events of the SSPX. ‘Let your yes be yes, and your no be no …’” So true. 2018 SSPX Chartres Pilgrimage
The fact is, the Capuchins exist in the SAME spirit and agenda as the SSPX. Only their benefactor newsletters are marketed with traditional nostalgia.

September 17, 2018 - Mgr de Galarreta orders a deacon and two priests in the Capuchins of Morgon [Translated and adapted from here.]
It was on a wonderful day of a beautiful summer that Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta , Auxiliary Bishop of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X, ordained a deacon and two priests for the Capuchin community of Morgon .
The ceremony took place in the green park of NETY Castle - in the municipality of Saint-Etienne-des-Ouillères (69460) - where the Friars Minor had installed, with particular care, a large tent in which nearly three hundred The faithful had come to support the Poverello sons with their presence.
How can we not remember that this day of ordinations - September 17 - is the feast of the Impression of the Stigmata of St. Francis and that 100 years ago, on September 20, 1918, Padre Pio also received the visible stigmas in these hands, his feet, his side and his shoulder?
Several SSPX priests and religious from several friendly communities made the trip. Some of them assisted the bishop in the various functions of this splendid Pontifical Mass:
- Assistant Priest: Rev. Antoine de Fleurance , Guardian Father of Morgon, - First deacon of honor: Father Olivier PARENT of CHATELET (FSSPX), collaborator at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur priory of Beaumont-Pied-de-Boeuf (53), - Second Deacon of Honor: RP Joseph , O.FM, - Deacon: Father Vincent GELINEAU (FSSPX), deputy treasurer of the District of France, - Sub-deacon: Father Louis-Marie GELINEAU (FSSPX), collaborator at Notre-Dame-de-Fatima priory of Prunay (51), - Grand ceremonialist: RP Ange-Marie , OFM, - Cross-bearer: Father Michel Morille (FSSPX), collaborator at the Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc Priory of Bergerac (24).
Ordination of Brother Cassian to the diaconate
It is Monday, May 7, 2018 that Brother Cassian , OFM, who had already pronounced his perpetual vows on February 11, 2018 on the feast of the apparitions of Our Lady in Lourdes , had received the sub-diaconate from the hands of Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta in charge of friendly communities.
Today he continues his ascent to the priesthood by receiving from the same pontiff, who became in the meantime First General Assistant of Father Davide Pagliarani , the diaconate.
In his sermon Bishop de Galarreta insisted on the role of the priest in charge of delivering the whole truth of Verbum Christi , the Gospel of Christ, and regretted that the official Church, or rather the conciliar Church, emphasized , no longer the guarantor of this Truth since the Second Vatican Council made its innumerable ravages.
Great and terrible day for the brothers Léon-Marie and Gilles-Marie who become, by their accession to the priesthood, Alter Christus and who will have to carry the same cross that that of the Divine Master. With the same abandonment, the same determination and the same love as the One who gave His life for our salvation.
The Catholic family, the one where God is first served ... and where the laity are a minority ...
We could not end this report without mentioning, even if they suffer for their modesty, the example of familes of Tradition that demonstrate how a true Catholic education can produce beautiful and many fruits.
