As early as July 15, 2012, and throughout, there is a voice recording of Bishop Williamson telling Frs. Pfeiffer and Chazal not to resist and do nothing to warn the people of the perversions of the faith coming from Menzingen. BECAUSE Bishop Williamson was looking to set up a deal with Menzingen over protecting the faith of Jesus Christ.
Bishop Williamson said @ minute 40:00 "...I am on the exit ramp. I do not know the details but I'm on the guillotine. Don't make plans yet for the seventh of August. Let's see whats possible. But don't yet commit me because I...huh...er...huh...I don't know what I am going to do. I don't, I haven't had yet the alternatives proposed to me that I know there is going to be a proposition. hum...so...a proposition will be an amiable separation. Now I don't have the details. But I am going to have to make a decision. But...huh... I do not know what I am going to do. So don't yet count on me. So I would think father to go back to the Philippines...you will be resettled...[take your punishment]".
Further in a return conversation with Fr. Pfeiffer hours later, Bishop Williamson elaborated more to say:
Bishop Williamson: "They offered me a solution. They gave me two choices: "Either I can leave, or I can leave amicably. I have to see what they are offering me. I have to see what the proposition is."
Is their a pension and compliant contract in that "amicably"?
Continuing 2-years later, in the beginning of Bishop Williamson's conference on Nov. 5, 2014 in Canada, he came out strong, again, to say he wants NOTHING to do with the "resistance". With a snicker of disdain, he said, "get over your toys, I will NOT lead. It is a radical movement."
More quotes of Bishop Williamson wanting NOTHING to do with the Catholic Resistance.
"The resistant groups, the resistants - a - n - t - s - and I very much prefer the expression resistants to the expression resistance … I very much believe in the resistants, I’m not sure I believe in the Resistance." (Bishop Williamson conference, Post Falls, Idaho, USA, June 2014)
“That is why, in my opinion, “What cannot be cured must be endured.” And that is why, right now, I envisage [as a Catholic Bishop] being little more than father, adviser and friend for any souls calling for a bishop’s leadership and support..” (Bishop Williamson, EC #307)
“Even if all the laity want to obey me, even if all the priests want to obey me, […] can you imagine that commanding resistant priests is like trying to herd cats? Can you imagine, is it unimaginable? In which case, is it worth trying if it’s bound to fail? It may be better not to attempt than to attempt and fail…” (Bishop Williamson, Post Falls, ID (USA), 1st June, 2014)
"And so I don't think we need to be too concerned to bring souls towards us because people just don't understand today. They don't have ears to hear." (Bishop Williamson, Banquet speech after consecrating Bishop Zendejas, May 12, 2017, youtube.com/watch?v=hetZgRGZafA ).
"Many souls today are likewise unfit to hear the truth." (Bishop Williamson, EC #513)
Therefore, it seems to me, if James is convinced that to save his soul he must stay in the Newchurch, I need not hammer him to get out of it. If Clare is persuaded that there is no grave problem within the Society of St. Pius X, I need not ram down her throat why there is. And if John can see no way to keep the Faith without believing that the See of Rome is vacant, I need urge upon him no more than that that belief is not obligatory. (Bishop Williamson, EC #348)
